Hey everyone,
I have a question about fish health. I recently purchased a batch of Doxycycline and am considering purchasing it from an online retailer. My fish are being kept in a tank for a few days. Is it safe to store the fish in a place that is protected with a seal? Or should I store it in the fish tank or should I store it in a container? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the info! I'll definitely keep a list of my fish to make sure I get any medication. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Doxycycline has been a game-changer in my fish health. I was taking it for a long time and have noticed that some of the bacteria in my fish seem to be resistant to it. I would definitely keep it in a container so I don't have to keep it in the tank. The other thing is that the bacteria in my fish seem to be resistant to it, but I am curious if it's safe. I do use antibiotics when I take them, but I don't want to kill them. Thanks again for your advice.
The good news is that some antibiotics are effective in killing fish. I found a lot of antibiotics on the internet for fish in the U. S. and they were effective in killing it. However, it's really not that hard to find antibiotics in the U. so I'd suggest you do a search on them before making a purchase. If you do try and get a fish antibiotic from the internet, do it again and make sure to follow all the directions and guidelines provided on the website. It might be worth asking if your veterinarian or fish doctor has any recommendations on how to do this.
Thanks again for all this info! I will definitely keep all my fish protected and out of the tank. I would definitely keep it in a container. Any suggestions on the best way to store it? I'm using an electric tank and I use it for a long time. Do I need a filter to get the fish out of the tank or should I store it in a container? Thanks!
Thanks again, everyone! I appreciate all the help and input! I'll definitely keep it in a container. If you have any recommendations for a safer tank, and/or if you have any specific questions about the fish or water health, feel free to ask.
